I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling anxious before a trip. I wonder if it's age-related? I love to travel, but I hate flying, (not afraid of, but just get mind-blowingly bored) and from New Zealand, most destinations are a long way away! The things you describe in your latest post - I'm in catchup mode! - are strangely like the things that start happening to me when I am in the run-up to a trip somewhere. Even if I am looking forward to (at least some) aspects of the travel, I deep down prefer to be at home and the anxiety comes out in my body. That sounds a bit freakish, but I am trusting you'll understand what I mean, or at least not hold it against me if you don't :-) As you have a long trip ahead, you want to be sure you are as well-equipped as you can be to deal with it, and the doctor might have something useful to say?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-16228486173402467472013-01-18T13:51:20.015+13:002013-01-18T13:51:20.015+13:00The main problem is I'm not sure how sick I am...The main problem is I'm not sure how sick I am, I don't think I'm slipping, just aware like the docs have always told me to be, but I don't know, I might because the trip is going to be a heavy duty one. Some of us have brains that need a little boost on a long-term basis, maybe forever. Do whatever works and move on. There's nothing to feel guilty about, my dear.Cate Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079028386218370915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-85317131200733600432013-01-18T11:24:16.850+13:002013-01-18T11:24:16.850+13:00Hi Meg, if you think you are slipping you really ...Hi Meg, if you think you are slipping you really should go talk to the doc, especially with a big trip coming up.
Cheers
LauraLaura Fryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06599868570350256631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-16411608943706145772013-01-18T11:09:32.728+13:002013-01-18T11:09:32.728+13:00I hate rodents. You bet there are quite a few movies I don't see because of rodents; I've never seen one rodent that was not repulsive. I also hate snakes and bats and some monkeys.

Having said that, this year's visitor to our fig tree is less repulsive than one from a few years ago. Not that I've had a close look at either... Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01350447919000146804noreply@blogger.com
