I don't have a lot of indigo-y blue pencils, especially at the lighter end, but I have several purples, so I'd have to say I didn't really try to recreate the colors of Amanda's picture as much as the mood with what colors I had on hand. I hesitate to say this, but mixing paint might be easier in this case, if I were to recreate the color schemes. Which just may be something I'll have to do next. The brushes I own seem to be of very bad quality. Having printed on cartridge paper was a big restriction. But mixing from the pencil tips, no I hadn't tried that.
