That means that setting it at 160 would crowd the yarns so close together that there is no way a weft yarn could pass through. Are you sure that 1) this is 60/2 cotton and not something finer? or 2) that the sett is really 160 epi (i.e., 16 ends per dent in a 10-dent reed? What am I missing here?Peg in South Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886923838871937466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-48126035494979923772009-04-09T10:17:00.000+12:002009-04-09T10:17:00.000+12:00Thank you, Dorothy. But yes, I had my mind set I wanted to weave a geeky fussy weave, but I'm glad I've grown up enough to step back a wee bit and think of what Teauret calls "macro" weaving, the overall effect. And what a relief; hopefully no sleying!Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01350447919000146804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-8840861490325848452009-04-09T07:11:00.000+12:002009-04-09T07:11:00.000+12:00Wow, 160epi, a once in a lifetime experience to we...Wow, 160epi, a once in a lifetime experience to weave.<BR/>I love these flowing lines and they are blending the colours one to the next.Diannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01401039267862076516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-80601283357274021422009-04-09T00:54:00.000+12:002009-04-09T00:54:00.000+12:00Frankly, at 160 epi I'm surprised you can get clea...Frankly, at 160 epi I'm surprised you can get clean sheds!
