But then once you start eating, you do open the lid every time, so, germs, live and let live. I do find writing therapeutic. The word-forgetting things is a worry for me, though; my thoughts halt suddenly, as do my body and facial expression, and I remember the senile oldies I've known in my life and some as portrayed in films and such, and just know I look like them on those moments. Shivers. The real worry for me is that it's in large part self-inflicted due to weight/lack of exercise and anti-social life, so there's that Catholic guilt, too. But my life isn't dark or sad, either, and I though this morning that yesterday's post was a bit morbid. I still laugh a lot and a bit too loudly; I just enjoy living inside my head perhaps little more than some others, my Mom most noticeably. :-D Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01350447919000146804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-89736661124184690712017-05-25T13:26:43.809+12:002017-05-25T13:26:43.809+12:00You have been spectacularly productive, though. (I have a very hard time staying away, but I've gotten better at shutting out "noise". FB for me is like a daily Table of Contents to many art- and history-related mini articles, any one of which could take me to a whole new world, and that's one of the reasons why I can't stop. The other being, of course, I'm so nosy and want to stay up to date with all friends/family's gossip. Your blog is so therapeutic for me, you have given voice to si many of my struggles. And you have an extensive vocabulary in 2 languages, if you can't recall a word or two, well, that's fine. It still is a lifeline, and I'll likely never give it up.
I've been in a "quiet" mood myself lately...plus not feeling great the last couple days, slightly off physically, not sleeping well.
I've dipped into FB just a wee bit recently, and so wish I hadn't, again. That shit simmers below the surface of one's psyche.
Re: fixing oneself, I'm kind of in the same place as you...I am who I am, it is what it is, just take what one likes, leave the rest, and get on with the rest of one's life.
xxCate Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079028386218370915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-25063173230813101922017-05-25T03:27:15.374+12:002017-05-25T03:27:15.374+12:00I enjoy reading your blog. I used to hate miso because of its high salt content, but my husband's family used it a whole lot. If I don't know, he might.
