But since I had visitors in April/May when I shoved everything to one side in the stash room, I haven't returned it to its usual state. It's the coldest room and this winter was long, so I've dipped in and out to get/return stuff. In the last month or so since it's warmed up a little, I've been thinking about it more so I can get to my paper stuff, but the task is daunting. I would today if I had a large empty room next to it. I've been wanting to work in sketchbooks, and also do color samples in watercolor, in addition to collages. Maybe soon-ish. Glad you're well overall. Don't you love freesias? Mine are already coming up -- meaning more than half the plants have nearly a foot of green on them. They used to bloom in the spring -- last year they bloomed in January. Might be December this year, at this rate. Send me some mail! Or an email anyway. xoCate Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079028386218370915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27254015.post-14314378101113891682015-10-18T23:06:39.259+13:002015-10-18T23:06:39.259+13:00Your garden is gorgeous and serene. It goes something like this:

Buy, plant.
Take out anything I don't like and plant anything I like.
Take out anything I don't like, weed, and plant "instant colors" usually annuals.
Weed, prune, plant "instant colors" to cover my sins, and mulch to do the same.
Weed, prune, plant perennials, and mulch.
Weed, prune, plant perennials and shrubs twice as close as recommended and mulch. Move plants if necessary, propagate.
Weed, prune, plant perennials and shrubs where I have mid/long-term plans and annuals where I don't, and mulch. Propagate.
Weed, read, ask, weed/spray, plant, mulch, feed, wait, read, weed/spray, read, think, wait.

And if at one point I see some success in the garden, this would be my record of learning.
