Weaving Against the Clock

But resigned to the probability that I won't finish this in time.

  1. Meg, time for you to read P2P rule number 5:
"How far you take the project depends on you. You could weave and have a finished piece, or go as far as determining the yarn, the set and the draft, or come up with a bunch of drawings and alternative project ideas."

So it's your thoughts and planning that matter and not a finished product! :-)

  2. Hee hee, hah hah, Holly, I know!!! But you see, as the organizer, I feel a bit slack if I don't finish, and more importantly, this cotton combination looks so much better when washed and pressed - almost like silk, shiny and slick with a great hand - whereas on this table loom, with the very short distance from the heddles to the breast beam, there is only very little I can show!

I've kept telling myself this, and rest assured there is no way in heck I'm going to be able to finish this, but I need a good part to photograph...
