Good Medicine
If you want to feel good about yourself as a weaver, go into your thrum box/bag, handle each one, and remember the times. I was going to throw my thrums away, but memories of past projects and what I was thinking and how I enjoyed each project came rushing back, and I couldn't dare to part with them. It might give your soul a boost, too.

I always imagined I would sit and tie my thrums into a very long yarn, and knit it up. Alas, I never did!
ReplyDeleteI did one use two sets as wefts, but it took so long I haven't tried it since.
ReplyDeletemost of the wefts in your pink scarf are my thrums.
ReplyDeleteYeah? Lovely! You're so patient. I didn't like the slowing down of the weaving, but I might consider using them in a more spontaneous project on the rigid heddle.
