Japan - Part 2: Responsible Party

Parents this morning.

I've been trying to make up for 50-odd years of being The Naughty Daughter, The Expensive Daughter and The Daughter Who Doesn't Help Around the House. But they aren't always happy as they feel I've been "working too hard", wearing too little clothes, (they like to set the room temp at "tropical" most days), and I can't remember what all else I'm doing wrong.  But we're laughing a lot together, too.

I promise I will post photos and stories once I settle.  I go home on Monday.

  1. The naughty daughter caught my eye on TAFA's snippet of your post so I had to come and take a look. Ha! You are the GOOD daughter! I skimmed down the page and it looks like so much fun. I'm glad you've had this time with them!

  3. Well, if you age into something as stunning as your Mum, you'll be alright.
    You look like her anyway

  4. Truth to tell, JB, Mom (and even Dad) was in a FAR FITTER shape at 53 than I was or have been, so I have to do much better.

  7. Thanks, Dot. They have become a tiny bit crazy in their old age - I keep laughing out loud as to how much they've changed.

  9. This is the first time I saw this in writing, India; must show it to the parents, who most of my life puzzled at what they did to "deserve" such a troubled child!! :->
