I Never Imagined I'd Say This...

But at age 50, I have become interested in acquiring a Tinker Toy set, for the first time. Not that I need a swift. But this is too cute! Uummm, no offense, but absolutely no rodents, please. Or else I'll have to borrow someone's cats.

EDIT: Sorry it was terribly rude of me to not tell you where I found it: it's over at Deep End's blog here. I just got overly excited by Tinker Toy and kind of jumpy about the rodents!

I got mine from Ebay, because at 43 I needed a swift, hehe.. and it works beautifully.

Oh, sure, that'd be a good place, too. But Deep End, the problem is, I don't need any more equipment!

What an ingenious idea! She was truly inspired when I thought of that.

I have three swifts - one which came with the first floor loom I bought here (my most used, and most robust); the other two antiques which are restoration works in progress. None are as portable as her Tinker Toy set.

Wow, you restore antiques as well? Wow, what can't you do, dear friend?

Overextended is the word you're looking for, I think! ;-)

(To answer your question, I can't sing to save my life!)

I've never been able to multi-task or get involved in many things, so I kind of envy people who do it, but be sure "resting" is on the list as well. Thank goodness you can't sing - makes me breath a little easier.
