Insomnia Draft: "City Lights"

What is a weaver to do, in the very wee hours, when she can't sleep?  Why, make up drafts that needed making up?  This one I'd like to call "City Lights", woven with black or dark gray warp and perhaps a pale yellow left.  It's winter here, and we're having a few cold (for Nelson) weeks.  Further south it's snowing, further north it's raining.  Here, is a mix of sun, cloud and some showers.

  1. that is gorgeous - I'd like to see it simplified for 8 shafts. If I was more experienced I would give it a go - but I'm just going to have to love it from afar.

I would happily trade some of the burning heat that we are having for a little snow. It never snows here in the desert.

  2. Hi, Barbara. I do remember a bit of the white stuff one morning in Tucson for a few hours in... 1963 from memory! My mother could not believe it.

  3. Tucson has a couple of huge mountains right in town. I'm in Phoenix and we get a flurry that doesn't hit the ground once every 10 years or so.

  4. My parents moved from Minneapolis to Tucson. In retrospect, I don't know if I see it as brave ore reckless.
